COMMUNITY   RESILIENCE

Rising to the moment of the COVID-19 pandemic and creating a campus reopening plan demonstrates the strength of Crestmont’s ability to pivot in challenging circumstances to meet the needs of our school community. In accordance with our cooperative structure, our school operates with close collaboration between parents, teachers, and administration in all of our functioning. We take pride in the fact that all of our community members come from diverse backgrounds and have an equal voice in our governance process. Members of the Board, Administration, teachers, and parents convened as the Crestmont Covid-19 Task Force and crafted detailed health and safety protocols informed by federal, state, and local regulations and guidance, which allowed us to return to campus this year.

SAFELY BACK ON CAMPUS

All classes have been back on campus since the 2021-22 school year and will continue to be on campus for the 2022-23 school year. ‌We are committed to maintaining a clean and safe space for our students and our staff, and to minimize the risk of infection as much as possible. We created a task force including representatives of the Board, Administration, Staff, and Parents. The task force reviewed available research and recommendations, and created the Crestmont School COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocol. This document was ‌designed‌ ‌to‌ outline Crestmont’s practices and safety measures.
