A Day in the (Sporting) Life of a Redwood

Here’s a sneak peak into what went on last week in Crestmont’s Middle School outdoor classroom…

The Sequoias began the school year with a unit in Striking Skills, utilizing tennis balls and rackets. They improved through practicing and developing tennis strokes forehand and backhand, rallying and games.

The Sequoias learned the anatomy of a tennis court and they were able to play doubles and singles.

The Sequoias also participated in Castle Ball, working on teamwork, throwing and catching skills, learning, “The game is never more important than the people we play with!”
