Crestmont Happenings
Saturday, October 24
10am to 2pm
Crestmont Bazaar
Come browse our kid-focused yard sale for toys, books, clothing, and other treasures; pick up plants and homemade baked goods; and explore local vendor booths. Enjoy food and drink trucks, a DJ, games, and a raffle with fun prizes! Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and spend a fall afternoon connecting with our community. Proceeds support Crestmont’s financial aid fund, helping make our cooperative school accessible to more families. We’d love to see you there!"
Saturday, November 7
10am to 11am
TK Mini Day
Your little one can explore hands-on activities and get comfortable in our classroom while you meet the teacher, connect with current families, and learn about our cooperative school community. This free, relaxed playdate is a wonderful way to get a feel for our Transitional Kindergarten program. We look forward to meeting your family!
Saturday, December 5
10am to 11:30am
Information Session with TK-8 teachers and Blessing Bag Event
TK–8 Information Session from 10am to 11:30am, followed by a community gathering and Blessing Bag project!
Discover progressive education at the Bay Area’s only cooperative elementary and middle school, nestled in the scenic Richmond hills. Meet our teachers and staff, explore our classrooms, and see students demonstrate their work. Alumni are also invited to share their experiences! Learn about our educational philosophy, the benefits of our cooperative model, and our application process, with time to have your questions answered by our team.
Directly afterward and until 12:30pm, join current Crestmont families for hot cider, cocoa, cookies, and snacks while taking part in a shared act of kindness. Crestmont is partnering with SOS Richmond on a donation drive supporting Richmond’s unhoused community. Families are invited to decorate Blessing Bags and fill them with items collected during the drive. It’s a wonderful opportunity to get to know our community while working together to care for our neighbors.
